Henning Mankell has been awarded the Spanish Arcebispo San Clemente Prize.
Yesterday it was announced that Henning Mankell will receive the 15th Arcebispo San Clemente Prize for his novel "The Man from Beijing." The winner of the prize is selected by students from five secondary schools in the Spanish region Galicia who vote for the best foreign novel they have read during the year. The prize ceremony will be held in Santiago de Compostela in February 2010.
